Rami Malek wins Golden Globes for his performance in Bohemian Rhapsody
The Egyptian-American actor Rami Malek wins his first Golden Globe for Best Actor for his performance in Bohemian Rhapsody. At the 76th annual ceremony of Golden Globes at The Beverly Hilton in California, Rami Malek wins big.
Further, Rami Malek dared to took competition against such big actors including Bradley Cooper. However, he was nominated among veteran actors Bradley Cooper and Willem Dafoe.
Malek won his first Golden Globe for his outstanding performance in a biographical drama movie ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’. The movie was directed by Bryan Singer, who also wins award for Best Motion Picture in the drama category.
Rami Malek carried out the real life character of Freddie Mercury in the movie. Freddie Mercury is regarded as the greatest singer of popular music in the world, who also was the lead vocalist of the British band Queen.

Malek said in his winning speech that, “I am beyond moved. My heart is pounding out of my chest right now”. In addition, he thanked Brian May and Roger Taylor for Queen.
Furthermore, he thanked Freddie Mercury for the joy in playing the life of his. And he gave credits to Freddie Mercury, by saying it a role of a lifetime.
Moreover, Rami Malek was competing against a bunch of talented actors including Bradley Cooper, Willem Dafoe, Lucas Hedges and John David Washington.
On which he also said, “This is a profound honor to receive this and to be counted among such extraordinary actors. I am privileged to be counted among you”.
